The All American Home – Rebuilding America 5% at a Time

We have everything at our fingertips that we need to create jobs and opportunities right here in the US, all we have to do is buy our own products! A builder from Bozeman, Mt named Anders Lewendal has built a home with All American made products. He is not only a builder, he holds a degree in economics and says that if every builder used 5% more American materials we would create 220,000 jobs right now.

On average, the US builds about 1.4 million homes each year at a construction cost of almost $2 trillion.  If builders reallocate 5% of their construction spending to American made products, this would add roughly $10 billion to the American GDP.  So what if every family in the US reallocated 5% of their spending to American products?  This would translate into the creation of rougly 3 million jobs!

Below is a list of suppliers for American Made manufacturers and suppliers of construction related products. Share this list with your family, friends and builders to do your part in reviving our economy.

We are proud to say that one of the companies listed below is from our hometown of Carrollton, Ga. Southwire Company has been the major employer in the West Georgia area since 1937. Southwire Company is North America’s leading manufacturer of wire and cable used in the distribution transmission of electricity. We have many friends that work there. We all need to do our part to ensure that the companies on our home front, that we have all learned to know and love, can stay afloat in these difficult economic times.

  4. I wish more people would write blogs like this that are really fun to read. With all the fluff floating around on the net, it is rare to read a blog like this instead.
