How I designed this plan.

I drew the Blandenburg Bungalow as a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath bungalow house plan that stacks 2,487 square feet on a lot just 34 feet wide. If you have a narrow, front-facing lot and need serious living space, this craftsman bungalow delivers it without compromise. The main floor holds 1,207 square feet with a first-floor master suite and an open floor plan that connects kitchen, dining, and living into one flowing space.

Nine-foot ceilings keep the main level feeling generous despite the narrow footprint. Upstairs mirrors the main floor with 1,208 square feet holding three more bedrooms, full baths, and a bonus room that gives you flexible space for a home office or playroom. The layout is efficient from top to bottom, no wasted hallways, no dead corners.

A front porch gives this bungalow classic street presence and curb appeal that fits right into established neighborhoods. The 2-car garage works within the 34-foot by 44-foot-4-inch footprint, and the flat lot design means minimal site work. At just 34 feet wide, this plan fits lots that most 4-bedroom homes cannot touch. It is proof that narrow does not mean small. The Blandenburg Bungalow plan is available for $1,495.

Can the Blandenburg Bungalow plan be modified?+

Common changes include adjusting bedroom count, resizing rooms, changing exterior materials, or adapting for a specific lot. Typical turnaround is 2 to 4 weeks. Contact Max Fulbright Designs at (770) 301-4214 or [email protected] for a free consultation and quote.

Does the Blandenburg Bungalow plan require a structural engineer's stamp?+

Stock plans do not include a professional engineer's stamp. Many US jurisdictions require a licensed engineer in your state to review and stamp the plans before permit submission. Check with your local building department before purchasing. This is a standard industry practice and is not unique to Max Fulbright Designs.

Who designed the Blandenburg Bungalow house plan?+

The Blandenburg Bungalow house plan was drawn personally by Max Fulbright Sr., the founder of Max Fulbright Designs. Max is a Georgia Institute of Technology-trained engineer who has designed and personally built more than 500 custom homes since founding the firm in 1990. Every plan in the Max Fulbright Designs catalog is drawn by Max himself.

Can I build the Blandenburg Bungalow house plan in any US state?+

Yes. Max Fulbright Designs has delivered more than 12,000 plans to homeowners and builders in all 50 US states and Canada. The Blandenburg Bungalow plan is drawn to general residential construction standards that work in most US jurisdictions, though local building codes vary and should be reviewed with your builder before construction.
