How much do house plan modifications cost?
The cost depends on the plan and the changes you request. A room adjustment can involve different work than a new roofline or foundation. Send us your ideas for a project-specific quote. Modification fees are separate from the base plan purchase.
Should I buy a house plan before requesting changes?
Contact us with your plan choice and proposed changes first. We can review the request, discuss the scope, and guide you through the base plan purchase and next steps.
How long do plan modifications take?
Timing depends on the scope of the changes and the current design schedule. Ask us to confirm the expected schedule for your project before moving forward.
Can I work with your family and still make changes with my local team later?
Yes. You can work with Max Fulbright Designs on your modifications and choose CAD to keep editable files available for later changes with your engineer, builder, or architect. Let us know you want CAD when discussing your modification quote. Your local professional will need compatible CAD software, and any additional modification work is quoted separately.
Are additional foundation versions included?
No. Multiple foundation options are not included with the plan purchase. Additional versions are available separately; inquire to confirm whether we have the version you need or whether modification work would be required.
What should I include in my modification request?
Include the plan name, where you are building, and a list of the changes you would like. Start with your priorities. If you have a marked-up plan or sketch, mention it in your request so we can discuss it with you.
