Does a mountain house plan require a walkout basement?

No. A mountain setting alone does not determine the foundation. Compare each plan’s drawings with your lot’s slope, driveway approach, and desired outdoor access. Ask your local builder about site suitability, and ask us which foundation versions are available for your chosen plan.

Are multiple foundation options included?

No. Additional foundation options are available separately and are not included in the plan price. Please inquire before ordering to confirm whether we have the version you need.

Can I request changes to a house plan?

Contact Max Fulbright Designs with the plan name and a description of your changes. We can discuss modification options and provide a quote for the requested work. Confirm the scope, price, and timing before ordering changes.

How do I find out what is included and what the plan costs?

Open the individual plan page to review current PDF and CAD options, pricing, drawings, and specifications. The plan price is separate from construction costs, site work, and any separately quoted modifications or foundation options.

Can you tell me what it will cost to build?

A reliable construction estimate needs the specific plan, location, site conditions, materials, and finish selections. Ask a local builder to price the design and site work. The purchase price shown here is for the house plan, not the completed home.

What should I confirm before applying for a building permit?

Ask your local building department and builder what site-specific documents, engineering, or professional review your project needs. Requirements depend on the location and site. Purchasing a stock house plan does not guarantee permit approval.
