How I designed this plan.
The Camp Creek Cabin is a dogtrot-style cabin that splits 4 bedrooms and 3 baths across 1,556 square feet on two stories, and it does it on a narrow lot footprint just 48 feet 8 inches wide. I designed this plan for buyers who love the traditional dogtrot layout where a screened breezeway connects two living wings with open air between them.
The main floor gives you 738 square feet per wing with a vaulted great room that makes this compact cabin feel surprisingly spacious. The dogtrot screened porch in the center becomes the heart of the home on warm evenings, a true indoor-outdoor room that connects both sides while letting the breeze blow through.
Upstairs, a bunk room loft accessed by ladder adds 374 square feet of sleeping space, perfect for kids, guests, or overflow on holiday weekends. Nine-foot ceilings on the main level keep the proportions right. The front porch stretches across the facade, and that signature dogtrot screened porch gives you covered outdoor living you will use every day.
At 48 feet 8 inches wide by 43 feet 4 inches deep with no garage, this cabin sits beautifully on narrow lots where conventional plans cannot fit. Each plan set includes dimensioned floor plans for all levels, front, side, and rear elevations at 1/4" scale with notes and dimensions, a foundation plan for the version supplied, and roof plan. Additional foundation options are available separately and are not included in the plan price. Please inquire before ordering to confirm whether we have the version you need. Available as a PDF plan set ($1,495) or editable CAD files ($1,950). Electrical plans are not included because they are customer-specific and finalized on site with your builder and electrician after framing.
Can the Camp Creek Cabin plan be modified?+
