I designed the Forever Farmhouse as a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath modern farmhouse that delivers 3,144 square feet across three stories with a wraparound porch and an optional walkout basement. This is the farmhouse plan for families who want room for everyone, porches on every side, and a layout that works on sloping lake lots as naturally as it does on flat land.
The main level holds 1,868 square feet with the master suite on the main floor and an open living floor plan that connects kitchen, dining, and family room naturally. A mudroom and laundry keep the everyday mess contained. Upstairs, 1,276 square feet adds three more bedrooms and a den that can flex into a home office or media room. The optional lower level at 1,851 square feet opens up a recreation room, shop, and additional living. No garage means more porch and living space in the footprint.
That wraparound porch is the signature of this home, stretching across the front and wrapping around for covered outdoor living that defines the whole design. A patio, screened porch, deck, and stoop add even more outdoor options. At 55 feet 2 inches wide by 59 feet 8 inches deep on a sloping or lake lot, this farmhouse takes full advantage of terrain changes. Build the basement or skip it, the plan works either way.
The Forever Farmhouse plan is available for $1,495. Similar farmhouse plans include Carolina Farmhouse, Low Country Farmhouse, Modern Farmhouse, and Madison Farmhouse.

Builder Insight
I designed the Forever Farmhouse the way I'd want my own family home built — a real porch that gets used, a kitchen that's part of the action, and rooms that make sense. Farmhouse character shouldn't just be an exterior style. It should be in how the home lives every day.
