Autumn Place is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath cottage that delivers 2,347 square feet across two stories on a footprint built for sloping, lake, mountain, and narrow lots. I designed this plan for the buyer who wants a main-level master, outdoor fireplaces, and a walkout lower level that lives as well as the main floor.
The main floor holds 1,250 square feet with a vaulted family room that makes the open living area feel expansive. A butler walk-in pantry keeps the kitchen organized and functional, and nine-foot ceilings maintain the sense of openness throughout. The main-level master bedroom gives you single-floor convenience for daily living. The lower level adds 1,097 square feet with a recreational room and full daylight from the walkout design, giving you a second living area that guests and family will gravitate toward.
Outside, covered porches, a screened porch, a front porch, and a grill deck give you outdoor living at every turn, including an outdoor fireplace for cool evenings under the stars. At 38 feet wide by 50 feet 8 inches deep with no garage, this cottage tucks onto narrow and sloping lots that wider plans cannot fit. The compact width is a real advantage on lakefront and mountain sites where every foot of frontage matters.
The Autumn Place plan is available for $1,495. For more cottage plans on challenging lots, explore Lake Glenville Cottage, Cheaha Mountain Cottage, Foothill’s Cottage, and Water’s Edge.

Builder Insight
I designed the Autumn Place the way I approach every plan — starting with how a family actually lives in a home, not with the exterior style. Open flow where it matters, private space where it's needed, and no wasted square footage. That's 25 years of building experience in every dimension.
