I designed Baker Lake Cottage as a 4 to 6-bedroom, 5-bath lake home that delivers 3,912 square feet across three stories with boat storage and the kind of room count that makes this plan a natural for large families and vacation rentals. If you want a home that handles a crowd without ever feeling cramped, this is the plan.
The main level holds 2,357 square feet with a vaulted great room that anchors the open living layout. The flow from kitchen through dining into the living space is generous and natural. Upstairs, 1,555 square feet adds bedrooms, a study, a loft, and a bunk room.
The lower level at 2,087 square feet can be finished or unfinished with a theater, recreational room, shelter room with bunks, and dedicated lake storage for all the gear that waterfront life demands. Boat storage on the lower level is the detail that serious lake homeowners always plan for. A front porch, patio, screened porch, covered porch, and grill deck give you outdoor living on every level and for every occasion.

Each plan set includes dimensioned floor plans for all levels, front, side, and rear elevations at 1/4" scale with notes and dimensions, foundation plan (basement standard; slab and crawlspace available for an additional fee), and roof plan. Available as a PDF plan set ($1,495) or editable CAD files ($1,950). Electrical plans are not included because they are customer-specific and finalized on site with your builder and electrician after framing.
