I designed the Chattahoochee River as a country cottage house plan that gives a growing family real room to spread out. With 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and 2,514 square feet across two stories, this plan has the space and the character to be the house your kids remember growing up in.

The main floor covers 1,586 square feet with an open floor plan that flows from the kitchen through the dining area and into a generous living space. The first-floor master suite sits privately on the main level with a walk-in closet that actually holds everything. Upstairs, 928 square feet gives you three more bedrooms and two full baths – enough room that nobody is fighting over space.

A front porch runs the width of the facade and a covered rear porch extends your living space into the backyard. The footprint is 57-foot-10-inch by 49-foot-6-inch with a 2-car garage – a great fit for corner lots and standard suburban parcels. The rustic cottage style keeps the curb appeal high and the framing conventional.
