I drew the Serenbe Farmhouse as a one or two story craftsman house plan for the buyer who wants flexibility built into the design from day one. Three bedrooms, 2 baths, 1,765 square feet on the main floor – and a whole unfinished lower level waiting whenever you are ready for it.
The main living spaces vault overhead through the family room, dining room, and kitchen in one continuous open sequence that feels generous without being cavernous. A first-floor master suite keeps the primary bedroom on the main level where most people actually want it. The stone fireplace anchors the living area, and on a cool evening with the screened porch door open, this home feels exactly like the retreat it was designed to be.
Outside you get a front porch, rear porch, screened porch, and a grill deck – every outdoor scenario covered. The 2-car garage is tucked cleanly into the 63-foot-2-inch by 52-foot-4-inch footprint. The unfinished lower level holds a bunk room, recreation room, and storage, ready to finish when your budget or family size calls for it.
Plans are $1,495. Also take a look at the Serenbe, Wedowee Creek Retreat, Oak Mountain Cottage, and Banner Elk.

Builder Insight
I designed the Serenbe Farmhouse the way I approach every plan — starting with how a family actually lives in a home, not with the exterior style. Open flow where it matters, private space where it's needed, and no wasted square footage. That's 25 years of building experience in every dimension.
