I designed Appalachia Mountain II as a 4-bedroom, 4-bath mountain home that packs 1,989 square feet of vaulted living onto one main level with an optional walkout basement that doubles the space. With a 3-car garage and a breezeway connecting it to the house, this plan gives you mountain lodge living with serious storage and vehicle capacity.
The main floor is all vaulted ceilings. The family room, master suite, screened porch, and even a secondary bedroom all vault overhead, creating a connected, airy feeling throughout the home. The open layout flows from kitchen through dining into the living space naturally, and nine-foot ceilings keep the standard rooms feeling generous. A bunk room and flex room give you options for guests, kids, or a home office. The optional lower level adds another 1,989 square feet with a recreation room and covered terrace for walkout access.
Outside, a front porch, open deck, screened porch, breezeway, and covered porch give you outdoor living on every side. At 51 feet by 56 feet 10 inches on a sloping mountain or lake lot, this plan takes full advantage of the terrain. The 3-car garage is connected by a breezeway that doubles as an outdoor living space. This is a home built for the mountains.
The Appalachia Mountain II plan is available for $1,495. Similar mountain designs include Appalachia Mountain, Appalachian Mountain III, Asheville Mountain, and Boulder Mountain Cabin.

Builder Insight
I designed the Appalachia Mountain II the way I approach every plan — starting with how a family actually lives in a home, not with the exterior style. Open flow where it matters, private space where it's needed, and no wasted square footage. That's 25 years of building experience in every dimension.
